MADD proudly recognizes Officer Brandon DeVita of the Holly Police Department as our Officer of the Month for November 2022.\u00a0 Officer DeVita joined the Holly Police Department in April of 2021.\u00a0 He has a passion for traffic safety and impaired driving enforcement.<\/p>\n
In his first 8 months of patrol duty, Officer DeVita arrested 44 impaired drivers. He has an exceptional impaired driving detection and roadside technique combined with perfected report writing skills.\u00a0 This reflects in his conviction rate, which is the best in the department.<\/p>\n
Officer DeVita\u2019s enforcement record stands out as he only works a part-time schedule! \u00a0Officer DeVita received MADD\/Michigan\u2019s Outstanding Officer award at the statewide Law Enforcement Recognition event held on June 17, 2022.<\/p>\n
