This award is presented to a distinguished individual in recognition of his or her commitment and accomplishments in highway safety over the course of his or her career.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7215 alignleft lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/madd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/ronaward2_BlogPost-ContentImage-Template.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/250;\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7215 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/madd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/ronaward2_BlogPost-ContentImage-Template.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/noscript>\u201cI am extremely grateful to AAMVA for giving me this prestigious Martha Irwin Award,\u201d said Replogle, \u201cI am glad to have been a part of improving traffic safety throughout my career and look forward to continue helping make our roadways safer with MADD.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Colonel Replogl e served and protected the people of Missouri as a trooper from 1984 until he retired in 2015. He served as Superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol from 2010 to 2015. During his tenure, statewide fatality totals decreased by 7 percent and MADD named the Missouri State Highway Patrol as its 2010 Outstanding Enforcement Agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of us at MADD are so proud that Ron received this well-deserved honor from AAMVA for contributing to highways safety all these years,\u201d said MADD CEO Debbie Weir. \u201cWorking with law enforcement to prevent drunk and drugged driving crashes is one of the most important areas that Ron directly contributes to every day.\u201d<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7214 size-full alignright lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/madd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/ron3_BlogPost-ContentImage-Template.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/250;\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7214 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/madd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/ron3_BlogPost-ContentImage-Template.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/noscript><br \/>\nRon served on the MADD National Board of Directors from 2015 to 2016 before accepting his current role as the MADD National Law Enforcement Initiatives Manager.
